I've tried talking to Jack but i'm getting no clear reply.

Jack died, never having met his son.

The boi wrote me a series of fics, a sort of what-if, as in, what if he'd lived...

And... Why am I more bothered by it all then he is? Can I call his son to us? I'd like to meet him. I'd like him to know his dad, even if it's only in his own death.

Dammit, I don't understand how Jack can take it so lightly. Not to meet your own baby, that you obviously cared for in life? I guess what one of my friends said is true, he has changed since he moved in...

We have a lot of minor muses in here - cousins or children of the bizarre, that connect with me better then the passing characters usually do... can I find the boy, can i bring him here?

I don't understand why he's not upset. There again I don't understand humans, let alone a human from the 51st century... But I want him to know his son. It's just too sad for him not even to see him.

Not sure if this is specific to him being dead, but all coms need a little kickstart sometimes so people remember they're there :D

(btw, being as how a lot of the bonds actually help me write, i call them my muses and i may occasionally refer to them in such a sense)

A couple of days ago we got ourselves a visitor. A doctor who visitor. We were surprised because the only who muses we have (Faro/Miko/Lily/Xan/Paige) are ones who are, writing-wise, "original characters" (insourced? Is that the term?)
This ones not. He's Jack Harkness, an existing character within the fandom. Except he's not quite. He seems to be an alternative universe character. When we realised he was here he was in the same state he must have died in, broken up and sporting a cyberman's arm (this is a fandom term and it's okay - you don't have to know what it's about)

Some of the existing muses are nervy of him. I need a way to really let them know he's okay. I've already tried telling them he's dead, We even got him to a suitable mental state to put his arm back as it would have been (I think a lot of how they appear is due to their self-image at time of death)

He's the first outsourced bond in a colony of insourced. And they're nervous of him despite the fact he no longer has the physical appearence of a cyberman. I'm wondering if time will allow them to adjust, at presant.

Today is the death day of one of my muses (karis_boromir), and I'm not quite sure what to do. He's been with me three years and I'm *sort of* used to this sort of thing (he never wanted to talk about his death until this go around), but I'm still uncertain what I should do. I let him write in his journal, and I've tried to help him by placing the people he loves around him today, but I'm still a bit unsure. He's handling the day just fine, but I'm a bit apprehensive anyway about what will happen when the actual time of his death rolls around.

...does anyone else have things that go on when the anniversary of their bonds' death arrives?

Hello everyone. I am a member of Arhuaine's collection of muses (recently moved LJs over to nosselinfea) and yes,I died, both in written canon and in my own recollction. It was a tragic and messy end, but thankfully I was at the time, rather tooinsane to actually notice the pain. (I was burned to death).

Now, I appear to be "alive" again. My appearance within the "system" shows no sign or scars of that event, save for a faint scar on my left palm where the Silmaril burned me. This even though I still do bear all the scars from previous injuries, including missing a hand. Aside from that I appear to be warm and healthy.

It is the natural way for those of my kind to be reborn after death, as they were in previous life. Rather like reincarnation except that rather than starting a new life, we are simply restored to a continuation of the previous one. I no longer have my own body physically, but "astrally", it is there, just as it was before.

There is another here, Casteylan, who is also technically dead. The others, we are not sure of. Maybe they're all dead...

I've learned a bit more about Ms Lovelock since my last posts (introductory post a few days ago) I was wondering how people got over being... well... murdered? Either because I'm the host (i'm not exactly stable myself) or because we're probably quite alike and she's unstable too, she seems to bounce from anger to sobbing pretty quickly. I'm trying to get her to talk with the other girls but she refuses right now. I never did feel very comfortable being somebody's sole comfort, especially when i don't know enough about her to really say anything.

Elise will be this years challenge, we think, like Karisma was last year but hopefully, with less violence and blatent disregard for this body's safety!

Actually, this song doesn't help either...

Jan. 9th, 2005 @ 10:34 pm Well, let's see..
I am Beastman, a Net Navi originally from a somewhat alternate Rockman.EXE-universe. I'm with talec18415 (ever the lurker in online communities) and there are -quite- a few other dead people wandering around (it's fun to say that), but it seems like not many (dead or otherwise) are interested in making themselves known in this universe. Heck, some of the dead guys still have physical forms and worlds to be in. O.o (That'd be the Yu Yu Hakusho group, I think..)

...It's an interesting network, that's for sure. But anyway, greetings.

Wow. Seems like we kind of got the ball rolling.

People seem to be doing a better job of introducing specific people, so we decided to type up a bit of a better, more personal introduction for ourselves. Hopefully no one minds--?

My name is Shaloum, and myself as well as the entire rest of the 'characters' from her 2004 NaNo (Legendary Age) are dead (with the exception of one, Makkura). We are victims of a serial killer by the name of Usai Tentsu. Usai was killed by myself, after I realized that he had killed Michiko, who I was sworn to guard.

Caius Cassius, from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, was killed (stabbed) by his servant (whom he asked to do so).

Harry Mason, from Silent Hill 1, was killed by a religious fanatic named Claudia Wolf. Vincent, from the third game, was also killed (stabbed) by Claudia. Leonard Wolf, (SH3) Claudia's father, was killed by Heather Mason (with a gun, in self-defense). Stanley Coleman, a mental hospital patient, was killed (choked) by Leonard. Henry Townshend, of Silent Hill 4, was killed (with an unknown method) by a serial killer named Walter Sullivan, who believed that Henry was the final death needed to complete a ceremony called the '21 Sacraments' (Henry was the 21st, and final victim of Walter). Mary Sunderland (Silent Hill 2) was murdered (suffocation) by her husband, James (however, she was already very sick from leukemia and was nearing death at the time of murder).

Edward Dakota, from the movie Identity, was shot and killed by another character (Rhodes), however, it's arguable that he was never alive.

Shawn Dunne, from the movie Birth, is a 9-10 year old re-incarnation of a 30-something man who died from heart failure.

There are many more people here, but they are, to the best of my knowledge and memory, alive.

About this Entry
Jan. 6th, 2005 @ 08:43 pm Our dead people:
Since everyone is doing it, here is a more precise list of our dead ones:

Friedrich: von Schiller. German poet, died young of tuberculosis. (Yes, a classic.) He's quite new and yet has to settle in properly. Would have preferred to live longer though.
Hamlet: I think we all know him. Murdered by relatives and quite bitter about it but glad to be out of that hellhole (paraphrasing).
Horatio: Followed him into our system after a while, natural death but still dead as it was quite a while ago. ^-^
Hide: Dead Japanese rock guitarist. Accidentally committed suicide. Is not happy about it but our Laurence manages to cheer him up.
Morpheus: The ex-Lord of Dreams, also murdered. Frequently has to cheer up Ayaka about it.
Paris: of Troy. Fled the city, had a long and prosperous life with his Helena, died a natural death. A split version of him was drawn to us via a loophole named Cinema Screen so he's quite young here and the memories of his life after the film are a blur with a veil. No hard feelings on his death.
Siamun: Used to be Yami Yugi but has slipped out of it. Now semi-"regular" Ancient Egyptian pharaoh that sacrificed himself to save the world from Eternal Darkness. Who could ever have hard feelings about such a death?
Sirius: of HP. Complicated history. Kind of reborn in here. Hard feelings go mainly to the author who killed him off.

Hello all ^_^

I'm Bi, a member of the viridion multiple system... and I'm sort-of dead ^^; (if you can be questionably-alive, can you be questionablydead?). Technically, I suppose, I'm an insourced soulbond.

I'm from a possible future Earth, and lived out a whole life before coming here, complete with the dying part (not exactly by natural causes, though. I died at 26, due to an accident..)- I'm currently trying to figure out exactly how I got here. And angsting. A lot. (just ignore that...)

Anyway, I might not post a whole lot in here, but I'll certainly be commenting. Nice to meet everyone, and nice to see a few familiar faces :3
